9 months

Liam celebrated his 9-month birthday at his baptism (pics to come). He had his check-up today, and he is doing great. He still has no teeth, although the doctor said that means he has very healthy gums, so we'll take it! His percentiles are finally getting a little closer together. He is 21.7 lbs., which is the 70th percentile for weight, and 27.5 in long, which is 30th percentile for length. He has chosen odd letter sounds for his first ones, such as "f", "p", "g", "k", and most recently, "b". He waves hi/bye-bye consistently, and shakes his head "no", just at hearing the word - see video below! He still squeals and forces laughs for attention, but most of the time, he is content, quiet, and observant of his surroundings. He is becoming attached to us, especially around people he doesn't know or see often. He doesn't crawl yet, but he loves to walk holding our hands, and has even stood alone for a few seconds. He is trying to crawl/creep toward toys, so we'll see how long it takes! Here are some recent pictures, including one of the nap he is currently taking.
