Friends of ours invited us to go with them to Phipps Conservatory. I hadn't been there in a few years, and I knew Liam would like it a lot. Their spring flower show is going on, and it felt so great to be among all the tulips, hyacinths, and other flowers. Lots of color, great smells, and we just pretended that it wasn't 20-something degrees outside! Liam loved the fountains and waterfalls, as well as seeing banana plants and cocoa plants. He had a treasure map they gave him, and he had to find all the hiding stamps, stamp his paper, and then turn it in for a prize. He really loved that! They also have a cute grocery store set up right now, where the kids can learn about produce and pretend to shop. Avery liked this part a lot, but she wasn't happy when we had to leave it!
