I'd heard about Home Depot's free kids' workshops for a while, and finally remembered to take the kids to one! They are the first Saturday of each month, and the kids get an apron, kit to build the month's project, a completion certificate, and a pin for their apron. Liam absolutely loved it. They had today's workshop set up outside on a plywood table and upside-down buckets for chairs.
This project was a car from Despicable Me 2. Daddy helped with the wood glue and starting the nails, and Liam took over hammering from there.
