We had a fun night checking out another park/nature center nearby. The kids entertained my wishes of a few pictures, and then they had fun running down the paths, checking out the pond and frogs, and playing in the play area. At one point, I had taken Liam back down a path to see the water again, when we heard a noise and then Avery screaming. Bo yelled for us to go in the opposite direction around the pond, and my heart was racing, wondering what had happened. It turns out Avery was inches away from stepping on a 3-foot-long snake on the path, and it freaked her out (and Bo)! All night she kept saying, "Mommy, I scared of the worm!" Other than that mishap, we had a fun evening:)
