10 months!

Avery is 10 months old! She made it almost impossible to get any good pictures; she wouldn't sit still for a second! She has done so many new things recently, and I totally remember that this is the age when Liam seemed to explode with new talents. Avery can stand alone for a while, and she's very steady. When we back up and try to make her take a step, she just gently lowers herself back to the floor instead of trying. It seems like we have a little more time before she walks, but we'll have to see. She remains a good sleeper and a good eater, despite having four teeth coming in at once. She currently has the bottom two, one to the side of those, and one beside where the top front ones should be! The ones trying to come in are the top front 2, plus the ones on the other sides of them. Crazy girl! Her newest talents are waving hi and bye-bye, clapping (although it's a little messy of a clap!), and raising both hands for "So big!". She makes funny expressions and has started a crazy babble that includes all kinds of noises and her tongue. She really makes us laugh. She is still so very loud, and if we go out to eat or shop, we just hold our breath waiting for her scream or yell. We get no warning when it's coming! She still doesn't love the car or her car seat, but it's manageable. She is so good at playing independently (as long as she's fed and isn't tired), so that has been great! We're just having so much fun with her at this age!
