After a very busy 2 weeks (shooting and editing a wedding, running the Pittsburgh half marathon), I traveled back to Lancaster with my parents (they were in helping to watch the kids while Bo cheered me on in the race). We then went to my parent's condo near Bethany Beach, DE. It's an awesome place, and though the kids were a little off that week, I know they will soon know it as another home:).

One of my closest friends and running buddies, Kristin. We ran our first half together last year, and made it through the Pittsburgh half this year. So much fun to have her by my side!
Now, some beach pics. We had chilly and rainy weather for a few days, so we headed to the indoor pool in the complex. The kids really liked it there. Avery played on the step the whole time (screaming when old ladies tried to squeeze past her to get out of the pool), and Liam had a blast using his float.

We had one day that was warmer and sunny, so we made it to the beach. There were some meltdowns here, too. I'm thinking they're still getting used to beach season.
