Father's Day fell on the day we were traveling back from our Outer Banks trip (vacation pics coming soon). To break up our trip a little, we drove from the Outer Banks to Lancaster to stay overnight at my parents, before heading to Pittsburgh on Sunday. We managed to squeeze in a few of Bo's favorite food stops, as well as picking things to keep Liam entertained. We first went to get the best pizza in the entire world: Pizza City in Strasburg. Thomas the Train was at the Strasburg Railroad last week, and yesterday was his last day. Liam is really into Thomas videos and toys, so we drove to the Red Caboose Motel to stand and watch him pass by. He just grinned the whole time, even through he got a little scared when Thomas blew his whistle right in front of us! It will be fun to take the train ride when Liam is a little older.
After arriving in Pittsburgh, we decided to stop at Bo's favorite Chinese restaurant, LuLu's Noodles in Oakland. It was really nice out, so after dinner, we walked around Pitt's campus. It's always fun to go back to my old college, especially since they do a great job updating it and keeping it so pretty. The Cathedral of Learning is always impressive, and we like to stop at the bench where we got engaged. 
One thing that has changed since my college days is the new park. What was once a parking lot between the Carnegie Museum and the library is now a huge park with flowers, food vendors, an ampitheater/tent, and a carousel. We took Liam on the carousel, which he loved! We ended our time with a big Liam meltdown, partly from us removing him from the carousel, and partly from exhaustion and travel. Liam gave Bo a July tee time with friends, so he will get an actual day to himself!
