a fun mall trip

We had a really fun trip to the mall tonight. Our first stop was Macy's, so that Liam could write and mail his letter to Santa. We then went for Liam's first Build-A-Bear experience! I found a $5 off coupon in a magazine, bringing Liam's bear to the grand total of $5.35. Pretty great price for the fun experience! After some Chik-Fil-A for dinner, Liam got to ride the Santa train.

Liam had Daddy draw a train on the letter to Santa, then he slid it into the mailbox.

Next up: Build-A-Bear. We showed Liam the 2 $10 bears he could choose from, and he picked a brown bear. We took him to the stuffing station first. Liam helped press the button to put stuffing into the bear, although he got a little scared of the noise!

Next, he picked a heart out of the box, warmed it up, kissed it, and put it in his bear. Next was Liam's favorite part - the bath. He helped step on the pedal to make air come out of the shower head. He wanted to keep bathing the bear, even after we checked out.
After the bath, we went to the computers to make the bear's birth certificate. After we left, Liam wanted to carry his bear through the mall. He held on to it tightly and patted its back as they walked.
We finished our night with a ride on the Santa train. He waved to Santa, and tried to walk over to him, saying "lap", but I knew better. We tried a few days ago, and he's all talk until we get up to Santa, then he freaks out. Maybe next year!
