9 months!

 Avery is 9 months old! That's really crazy to me, because age 1 is right around the corner. Here are some big things she is up to now: She is getting two more teeth. She has the bottom two, and normally the next to come in are the top front two. Instead, she is getting the ones beside the front top ones! That's going to look pretty funny. She has one through, and the other is coming soon, though it's giving her a really hard time. Besides the teething, she is her happy little self. She is trying different sounds, like blowing raspberries, doing this tiny little "p" blowing sound, and she will try to imitate you if you say "ma-ma-ma" or "da-da-da". She pulls up to stand like it's the easiest thing in the world, and she recently has started letting go, standing alone for a few seconds, the crashing down on her bottom, which she finds funny. She eats well, and I have to work hard to remember 3 meals of solid food, plus her bottles. She is very into Cheerios right now, too!

    

She also likes to shake her head "no", but it doesn't mean anything, she just likes to do it! Something I find really funny is how she reacts to stuffed animals. If she sees Liam's bear or other animal laying on the floor, she crawls wildly to it, then buries her face into it, laughing and squeaking in a high-pitched voice! She also finds her brother very funny, and they have screaming and laughing conversations a lot. As for sleeping, she is still doing great at night, although for some reason, she wakes up around 10 pm every night, then goes right back to sleep til morning. She naps about the same, although I wish she could spread out her naps a little bit; she gets really tired in the evenings because her last nap is around 1 pm. Overall though, she is a great baby!
